@MattBinder As a dude who had a shitty dad, it's always nice to hear about the good ones. No bigger victory for him than raising a great family, keep it up bud!
@alexneighbour@MeidasTouch I genuinely think if he was given a reality tv show or something I'd watch it. Like traveling the globe to find the best parade or something.
@JaeGamez 8, with a better focus on showing school life, and doing a better job of extrapolating the finer details of what a world that permits and encourages the use of orphaned child soldiers to solve it's problems looks like, and explores what that does to said child soldiers.
@aerithberry The setting and lore were interesting, but yes, Vaan was just a framing device and it really didn't work. Truthfully, I also hated the battle and level system. Ivalice is easily my favorite FF world though.
@DevMoonGlint Just be careful not to burn yourself out man. I know you're dogmatic about this game.
The biggest complaint I have is structural, if you can, try to make the back tracking less abrasive in future campaigns. I really dig the game but the first campaign was like suicide sprints.
@thebillbrandt@___TheGOOdWitch The only things "validated" are that a guy named Jesus existed, and that he was seemingly executed by the government around the same time. No solid evidence of any miracles, magic, or revival. It's worth adding that any 'biblical archeologist" would have confirmation bias.
@Dave1976md@JoeSantagato So you're seeing right wing capitalist propaganda, cool. Well, you should maybe question the validity of that given how this info is coming straight from the NYPD, who themselves aren't even a fan of Mamdani, so they have no reason to cook the numbers in his favor.
@thebillbrandt@___TheGOOdWitch Not sure if you're aware of this, but there are multitudes of religious literature about gods and their children walking the earth, doing miracles. Conveniently, none of these stories took place during a day and age where those miracles can be verified or proven.
@thebillbrandt@___TheGOOdWitch Then by your own admission, good people who don't follow god are sent to hell because what, god wasn't willing to make a better argument? To better demonstrate his existence? That's megalomania, toxic pride. We are back again to a binary choice. Submit or suffer. Contradiction.
@thebillbrandt@___TheGOOdWitch Wait, you're saying an omnipotent all powerful god couldn't find other options? Contradictions. Speaks to a lack of imagination on your part. And to say it's evil to not follow god is reductive and silly. You yourself must know there are moral atheists and immoral Christians.
@thebillbrandt@___TheGOOdWitch You're confused, bud. That's what I'm saying - it's do or die. A binary choice of heaven or hell, paradise or suffering. That isn't an actual choice, it's a threat. If god is all powerful and loving, why wouldn't there be a third choice? Why would hell even exist? Contradictions.
@thebillbrandt@___TheGOOdWitch Nope. Your soul or eternal damnation. That's the choice. Pledging yourself to him, or hell. There's no walking away, no third option. It's binary, and it's a threat. Brother, contradictions. A loving father, a god worthy of worship, would not do this.
@thebillbrandt@___TheGOOdWitch A non neutral choice isn't a choice, it's coercion. If I hold you at gunpoint and say "Your money or your life" isn't a choice, it's a threat and a demand. Eternal damnation from a loving god? Brother that's insane and toxic. Contradictions, friend.
