How am i just now seeing this tweet this is hilarious. We truly made Environment Canada proud! π
(We've had a lot of discussions about this since, and honestly, there probably isn't a better way to handle this when it's spamming landspouts near a populated area)
@MisheylaIwasiuk It was mostly a light-hearted joke, but in all seriousness, I hope Canada can get a better service than they currently have for severe weather (although it sounds like it's coming soon, which is good!)
I will admit y'all are better than us at most things, so there's that π
We need to STOP complimenting storms. Celebrating an active storm can KILL IT. This is because storms feed off of instability.
A storm that feels validated becomes emotionally stable. A stable atmosphere produces NOTHING. Keep your supercells anxious. Keep them insecure.
Friendly reminder that if you're going to use the military to be upset that June is pride month, but you don't do anything in May and November, you mostly likely don't actually care about service members and are just homophobic and transphobic <3
Man this is so sad... given what we know from weeks prior, something had been going on for awhile. Please take your health seriously. Life is way too fragile to take for granted.

Here's a look back at the supercell thunderstorm that tracked across eastern Reno and northwest Sedgwick County between 4:30pm and 5:30 pm on Saturday evening. #kswx
