دنیا کے دو ارب مسلمانوں میں سے صرف یہ ایک 86 سالہ مسلمان زندہ تھا، جس نے خم ٹھونک کر استعمار اور سامراج کی سب سے بڑی طاقت کا نہ صرف انکار کیا بلکہ اپنی قوم کو مزاحمت کیلئے تیار کیا۔ محلات، پُر تعیش زندگی، شان و شوکت کو ٹھوکر مار کر درویشی کی زندگی گزاری، نہ کوئی بیرون ملک اثاثہ، نہ فیکٹریاں، نہ رئیل اسٹیٹ، پہلے بہو اور داماد شہید ہوئے اور پھر خود، وہ طاغوت کیلئے موت کا سایہ اور مستضعفین زمانہ کیلئے امید تھے، زندگی وہ ہے جو انہوں نے گزاری اور موت کی سعادت بھی وہ ہے جو انہیں طاغوت سے ٹکرا کر نصیب ہوئی نہ ک�� کسی محل کے بستر پر۔ کچھ لوگ ایسی زندگی گزارتے ہیں کہ زندگی کو اُن سے گِھن آتی ہے لیکن خامنہ ای جیسے لوگ جب زندہ ہوں تو زندگی ان ��ر رشک کرتی ہے اور جب مریں تو موت بھی اشک بہاتی ہو گی

جس دھج سے کوئی مقتل میں گیا وہ شان سلامت رہتی ہے
یہ جان تو آنی جانی ہے اس جاں کی تو کوئی بات نہیں
