DNC autopsy 2/2
Despite the typos, the 1st draft doc (not final) focuses on
- year round organizing
- always on media
- local organizing
We need a real discussion about what’s different. Voters deserve it. Donors want it. Activists want it. If not this doc, where is it?
The attacks on the DNC autopsy are breathtaking. Forget the typos, focus on the takeaways.
1) it looked at systemic issues, not the episodic ones like Biden’s age.
2) if this 1st draft (not meant to be final) isn’t right, where is the DNC approved version?

I’ve known Fred Kacher for 30 yrs. He is a dedicated naval officer who has served this country with honor and distinction. Never met an officer who believes in the Constitution more.

A simple message with big meaning: "I am somebody." We are grateful to Rev. Jesse Jackson for helping teach generations of children to believe in themselves and in one another. Thank you for being part of our neighborhood. 💛💚
Here are the facts: the 7 states where 2/3 of Americans don't have a passport. All of them are red states: West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Yes, that's your home state, Scott.
Married women whose married names aren't on their birth docs would face extra hurdles. Just because you don't care, doesn't mean it isn't a real issue.
It took 17 years for Real ID (with similar citizenship requirements in some states) to actually be implemented in the US. Do YOU think that's because Americans are "too dumb" to figure it out?
Oh and BTW, according to the SAVE ACT, most Real IDs wouldn't count.
"Today" show co-host Savannah Guthrie and her siblings, Camron and Annie Guthrie, released an emotional video Wednesday night pleading for the return of their mother, Nancy Guthrie, who authorities believe was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home over the weekend.
Saying that they were aware of reports of a ransom note, Savannah Guthrie said she and her family are "ready to talk."
"However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her," Savannah Guthrie said. "We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us."

Every one of President Trump’s judicial nominees in his second term — without exception — has refused to say who won the 2020 election or what happened on January 6.

The 70ish gruff white crossing guard at my kids bus stop this morning (who NEVER talks politics) in the freezing cold: “maybe this is Trump’s way of getting us ready to live in Greenland. What the hell’s going on with this guy?”
Fighting for an American future that includes African Americans, White Americans, Latino and Asian Americans has sadly meant sacrifices from heroes like Viola Liuzzo, Renee Good and Alex Pretti. I pray for no more. https://t.co/nhS8if9wFh
Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic.
The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.
