Before St. Thérèse of Lisieux was the “Little Flower,” she was a little girl who prayed for the conversion of a murderer.
Henri Pranzini was sentenced to death for murder and appeared completely unrepentant.
Thérèse began praying and sacrificing for him. She begged Jesus for a sign that Pranzini had accepted His mercy.
After his execution, she learned something:
Just before his death, Pranzini seized a crucifix and kissed the wounds of Jesus three times.
Thérèse learned that her prayers were answered.
She called him her “first child.”
Never stop praying for the conversion of souls.
You may never see what your prayers accomplish this side of Heaven.
I had a miscarriage today…
I’ve never had one before.
This is the most devastating loss I’ve ever experienced in my life…
If you are a praying person, would you say a prayer, please.
💔✝️
Please pray for two of my classmates who have died.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace, amen.
I don’t know what to write so I’ll just put the facts here.
I have cancer. It’s not localized. It’s already in my colon, lungs, and abdomen.
This space has held great things for me, community, friendship, opportunity, creativity, fun.
I’m here to humbly ask for one more thing fight with me, for as long as we can.
Please pray for my 1.5 year old little girl. Not only does she suffer from a rare kidney disease, but now she’s in the hospital battling rsv and keeps declining. Please, please pray for her
Good morning frens
My wife and me said goodbye to our baby from miscarriage, we told them we loved them despite them being in this world for a short time.
We are more grateful for our son who is healthy and happy.
