@LauraRicha42528@regginasinole@MarcusGustavus When reading Romans 9 & 10 first, you get the fuller picture that Paul grieves that all his kinsmen in Isreal will not be saved, because all of Israel does not have faith. But God has kept his promise in Christ and has saved a remnant through Christ, which includes Paul himself.
