Young children are especially vulnerable to nursemaid’s elbow, an injury that can happen when a child is suddenly pulled, lifted, or swung by the hands, wrists, or arms.

Because their elbow structures are still developing, a sudden pulling force can cause part of the elbow to slip out of its normal position.

🚩 If a child suddenly cries after being pulled and refuses to use the arm, keeps it hanging by their side, or holds it stiffly, don’t force or straighten the arm. Seek medical attention.

A simple precaution can make a big difference: lift young children by supporting them around the torso or under the armpits—not by pulling their arms.

And remember: nursemaid’s elbow can happen without obvious swelling or bruising, so a child who suddenly stops using an arm should be taken seriously.

Small changes in how we handle children can prevent unnecessary pain. ❤️

Few days back, a colleague here on X posted about a lady that came for scan because she was having serious abdominal pain… And after some questions, it was discovered she was pregnant, did D&C without even going for scan…
After the D&C, she was still having serious pain, that was when she came for scan, and it was discovered she was having ectopic pregnancy 😱
Like the baby has grown oo, the fetus I saw in that video should be around 13-17weeks
Which is very very risky for the lady..
Imagine a baby that big growing outside ur womb, ahh see d€ath knock at your door..
I’m now confused, the D&C she did, what was removed??
Tomorrow when u cannot give birth again, you’ll be blaming God and your village people, while you’re the one tha used ur hand to scrap ur womb😏🥲

I’m sure it’s quack that carried out that abôrtion, because no Doctor will carry out a D&C procedure without, telling you to go for a scan!!!

My coworker died shortly after giving birth.

The doctors managed to bring her back twice before losing her.

A few months before she went into labor, our team was planning a baby shower for her.
