This is the most avoidably dumb thing I've ever seen. It's like rifling through a well-stocked pantry and deciding that the absolute best thing to make is baking powder and vinegar soup.

Humans are exceptional, the only creatures who can ask of themselves: “Who are we?” The answer we have chosen to give is therefore deeply paradoxical: We are nothing much at all.

Sorry. But this word salad can’t rewrite the facts. The defining trend over the past 30 years was the emergence of an overwhelmingly left-leaning broadcast media post Reagan abolishing the fairness doctrine — eventually producing a right-leaning reaction as folks from Fox News onwards realised there was a gap in the market for an antidote. Despite that response, with the emergence of strong right-wing voices, US broadcast media still tilts largely left. But the backlash has gathered pace. CBS could be latest to fall.
It's kind of amazing that for 2 years roving gangs of leftists walked around society tearing down public monuments and lighting things on fire, and it got absorbed into the background of society and treated as though it were just another unremarkable feature of everyday life.
Sharing footage is divisive. Asking why it's happening is divisive. Asking what we can do to stop it is divisive.
You wouldn't want to be divisive, would you?
This was brilliant. Trevor Phillips played a clip of what Keir Starmer said about George Floyd and displayed how Labour MPs expressed their “anger”.
David Lammy said it was fine because they were in opposition.
But not fine for Nigel Farage to use the term “rage” like they did.
As ever, the smug self-certainty and lack of critical thinking from O’Brien is astonishing.
He assumes that his position is the default, and that anyone who holds a different view must have nefarious motives.
It’s all so insufferably childish.
Obviously I don’t want to feel angry about the death of a boy as that would make me the tool of the far-right, so it would be helpful if the Government could tell me how I should feel. Annoyed? Irritated? Mildly anxious?
'Henry told officers that he could not breathe nine times. He told them he had been stabbed four times. The response from one officer was "I don't think you have, mate".' https://t.co/p5PMjNRKU0
“Nothing but respect”? Obama said Romney was a felon who gave his employees cancer and would push the elderly off of cliffs. Biden said he would put black people back in chains.
Appalling things happen almost every day in Britain that he doesn’t so much as mention.
Something happens in California that lets him pander to a domestic voter bloc, and the Very Serious International Statesman weighs in.
The left is absolutely shameless in how they normalize their crazies
Meanwhile the right is in a Civil War to expel the grifters, extremists and nutjobs
Democrats are losing because their most culturally relevant political figures still preach woke ideology like it's 2018 and they can't let go because wokeness is their moral north star.
For the first time in my life the left is behind the times and it's increasingly hilarious.
Megyn is starting to think she's been "manipulated" by Israel and Zionists into thinking Islam is bad. She's waking up to a new reality that sees self-serving Jewish influence and control at the center of everything.
The woke right is real.
If you talk to liberal academics, they think people on the political right are emotionally driven and uninterested in incorporating reason and facts into their worldviews.
However in virtually every modern debate it's exactly the opposite we see over and over again.
