The most shameful part of this is that the media is doing it intentionally. You have to purposefully not do your job for so many of these stories to consistently be unreported. It just doesn’t work that way naturally. People are making conscious decisions for political reasons to ignore these stories & young Americans watching TikTok & insta still think ICE murders people because Alex Pretti was killed while interfering in a law enforcement operation & putting himself at risk. The real murderers get away with it because the media runs cover for them & pushes one false narrative after another. They are not objective observers - they are complicit/co-conspirators.

I just watched the video of Mitch McConnell and my stomach turned. My gosh! This isn't just concerning, it's a flipping national disgrace. The man is nonverbal, physically half unresponsive, being moved around like prop. His hands make weak, desperate gestures as his mouth tries to form words that never come. And this is the person who's been steering our country? I'll say it again! He is functionally incapable of serving. We're watching a human being propped up by staffers, a shell of who he once was, all for the sake of maintaining political power. Washington DC isn't a hospice center, but that's how they're treating it, like some extended care facility where the patient is trotted out occasionally to prove he's still breathing. Enough, y'all. This is an insult to every American, and a profound betrayal of the very voters he claims to represent. It's not about age, it's about basic functionality. When someone cannot speak coherently, cannot respond to questions, cannot perform the basic functions required to serve, then they cannot serve. Period. This isn't mockery. This is a desperate plea for sanity. Send him home with dignity. Don't prop him up like some grotesque monument to power's refusal to let go.

Term limits for members of both chambers of Congress is a great idea...

For me, I say two terms in the Senate and six terms in the House, totalling 12 years for both.

And I'd make this caveat also:

12 years total. So if you spend three terms in the House, and then one term in the Senate, you've hit your 12 years. You're done.

If you spend four terms in the House, you can't run for Senate as the full term would push you over the 12 year threshold.

Being a Federal representative was never designed to be a long-term career and we need to get back to that.

12 years is enough.

Nobody *NEEDS* to serve longer than that.
