Luxon calls Peters wrong for saying the India FTA discriminates. Yet National quietly added restrictive visa settings that single out Indian migrants after signing the deal. Explaining is losing. https://t.co/PCEskQHY0J
This will be the big one. If you possibly can, be there. Make sure that if you can't be there, watch it live on NZ First's YouTube channel. All their election policies will be announced. This will be huge. The official campaign launch for NZ First. None of the other parties will have an event anything like this!
@DeaconTaurus@Kelly26552573 Why would he apologise ?
Point blank refusal to deal with Labour indicates a lesson learned
If your looking for grand gestures & the accompanying circus may I suggest TPM or the Greens
I prefer him to just get on with it rather than constantly looking backwards
Reactions to NZ First’s citizen only voting rights policy says a lot about some people.
“Oh but I’ve been here for 30 years and pay taxes and worked for the govt.”
Too bad. We are sorting out who actually cares about NZ now. If you care then get citizenship. Simple.
@AucklandIsland Labour went from a landslide win of 50.01% to losing to the current coalition with 26.91% of the party vote
Think about that astounding 23.1% loss of trust & confidence.
Cindy saw the writing on the wall & slunk away with her tail between her legs
🚩Michael Laws this Morning :
“WTF did Luxon and McClay sign this Indian deal when it reaffirms UNDRIP?”
By reaffirming UNDRIP it gives Māori activists even more power, and is a public law risk of mammoth proportions.
laws explains that since National signed this crap in 2010 with Act, it’s spurned co-governance and has given co-governance legal standing, every Waitangi claim since 2010 has cited UNDRIP as a justification for the claim, including Nga Tahu’s claim on fresh water.
Laws surmises that Luxon, McClay and Seymour’s inexperience has allowed them to be duped. Maybe, or maybe they just don’t care.
Michael notes that this reaffirmation of UNDRIP is in conflict with NZ Firsts coalition agreement that cites UNDRIP is irrelevant and should not be recognised or entered into any govt agreement.
As if the Indian deal wasn’t dodgy enough, these clowns are intent on turning NZ into cross between South Africa and India.
This is a major issue and MSM are t saying boo. Why would they? This deal is right up their progressive, globalist assholes.
Te Gimp and Seymour are retards.
🚩Its happened again.
A Sri lankan permanent resident who was a caregiver at a care home has been jailed for more than a decade after raping an elderly woman and sexually assaulting another.
The suppression order was lifted allowing Nilushan Jayanga Silva Ginthota Vidhanage to be named, he was earlier found guilty of rape as well as two charges of unlawful sexual connection.
The Judge said that Vidhanage had also pleaded guilty to a charge of intimidation which related to him "accosting or approaching" an 11-year-old girl after she had left school.
"You stopped your car, you asked her whether she wanted a cigarette, she declined. You then asked her whether she wanted a ride in your car she declined, and then you forcefully directed her to get in the car.”
RNZ reported that this animal will be deported back to Sri Lanka after he serves a third of his sentence.
@Infideliter2022 Only 5 countries on the planet allow non citizens to vote, are the remaining 190 countries also xenophobes ?
If they want civic “responsibility” they should become citizens - it’s that simple !!
@DeaconTaurus@Kelly26552573 You’ll find that some people accept & learn from their mistakes, try to rectify them & do all they can not to repeat them.
Then there are others who wallow & make capital from the narrative around that past.
Humility to accept mistakes were made & courage to step up again.
No country is as staunch about self interest than China.
Muslim terrorists start murdering Chinese people.
The CCP classify Islam as a mental disorder, a virus, and mosques have been torn down or converted into shopping centres.
Pretty sensible, meanwhile the West...
Thank you @winstonpeters & the team @nzfirst for giving a little light to hope in this country that our member's of government are finally listening to us the public.
Is spending $8.6 million on a new city marae the best use of regional infrastructure funding?
Regional infrastructure funding is limited. Every dollar spent in one place is a dollar that can't be spent on roads, pipes, flood protection, or other essential infrastructure.
If this project is expected to deliver significant benefits, another fair question is: why weren't those who stand to benefit the most funding a greater share themselves?
Taxpayers deserve an honest debate about whether this is the best use of public money. 👇
😵💫Te Gimp is putting the hammer down on his quest to make us a third world shit hole country.
This morning he has announced somewhere more disaster FTA’s to be delivered in the next 3 years if he is PM.
including - NIGERIA - and BANGLADESH.
As soon as the media asked about India’s migration clauses, Te Gimp steps away from the Mic and Mclay confirms that National are now working on a NEW VISA for India - Just as WP said.
McClay then strenuously confirmed that NZ will honour ALL THE FTA’s obligations including the $33 BN in Investment to India, and of course biomass.
