Dear Edwin Sifuna,
William Ruto's ground intelligence has made him confront a reality he cannot ignore: you have achieved something politically significant in Western Kenya.
You have built a following and given many young Luhya voters a rallying voice around the idea that Luhyas, too, must lead.
What worries Ruto even more is the political chemistry between you and Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.
You were allies under Raila Odinga, you understand each other politically, and today you are speaking the same language: Team ni Moja Tam ni Moja.
Ruto may be comfortable with Mudavadi, Wetang'ula and Didmus Barasa in government, but political positions do not automatically translate into the loyalty of the people on the ground.
That is why, Edwin, you must be careful.
The money, the positions and the promises being placed before you may look attractive today, but politics is full of traps disguised as opportunities.
Do not allow temporary comfort to destroy a historic political journey.
You were once pushed out and politically underestimated.
They thought you would disappear.
Instead, you grew stronger.
Do not use a long spoon to dine with the devil. Don't eat with satan.
KSh 12 billion or a Cabinet Secretary position may sound enormous, but they are nothing compared to the political trust and national stature you have earned.
Kenyans have given you something money cannot buy: belief.
Some Kenyans see you as part of the country's future leadership.
Do not trade that future for a temporary seat at the table.
And finally, Sir Edwin, judge every political friendship by actions not smiles, meetings or promises.
Ask yourself: Who genuinely wants to see you grow, and who simply wants to neutralise you before you become too powerful?
The decision is yours.
History is ready for you. The people are saying they are you. And the future will remember the choice you make.
Decide wisely, Hon. Edwin Sifuna.
DEAR KENYANS FORGIVE ME.
Kenyans, forgive me. I thought I would vote for Sifuna.
I have always thought of waking up at 7AM on August 10, 2027 to vote for Edwin Sifuna.
But after listening to his speeches, evaluating his vision and what he wants for Kenya and Kenyans,
I have today decided that I will wake up at 5AM to VOTE for His Excellency Edwin SIFUNA!!!
