First New York, now reports of ballot machines jamming in Pennsylvania.

We can send rockets into space and land them backward, but apparently getting a ballot into a scanner is where American engineering draws the line.

Election Day is the worst possible time to discover your equipment doesn’t work.

Who’s responsible for testing these machines?

BREAKING: Ballot scanners reportedly failing across Westchester County, NY, on Election Day.

In a politically competitive area. On the one day these machines absolutely have to work.

Maybe it's incompetence. Maybe there's more to the story.

Either way, voters deserve a full explanation, not just assurances that everything is fine.

Every ballot scanner in Westchester County, New York, is rejecting paper ballots on Election Day.

The county's Board of Elections confirmed the issue is affecting polling locations throughout the entire county — New York's seventh most populous — but says it has not yet identified whether the problem lies with the ballots or the machines. Voters are being told to fill out their ballots and place them in designated orange emergency ballot bags, which officials say will remain secure, monitored, and ultimately counted.

Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., was the first to sound the alarm on X, urging voters not to leave their polling places. New York AG Letitia James says her office is monitoring the situation.
