@Ampandrew My preference would be a wide passage with deep groves scraped out by a tractor . Maybe that doesn’t suit system .otherwise a robotic scraper set at specific quiet times in the barn .. pros and cons of all of them !

@Ampandrew Chain,rope and hydraulic, if not run often enough can cause pooling infront of the scraper, increasing the likelihood off DD . Run them too often and they are crashing into cows at busy times possible causing trauma injuries to the feet and I feel they are a bit of a trip hazard
