@jomasity@nbanerdd Butif you’re going to come to Utah as a player and not have the lifestyle NBA players are used to. ( not a knock on Utah) competition is going to be pretty important. Obviously tanking was necessary but most players don’t wanna just get paid. They want to compete
@jomasity@nbanerdd Clarkson also talked about how it’s nice to “be competitive and actually playing for something.” John Collins was frustrated with the tanking when he was in Utah. But yeah obviously it gave players a chance to rebuild their careers but it also wasted a lot of young players years
@jomasity@nbanerdd Keyonte was almost out of the league according to reports had to change his mindset and approach. Players that left said it was awful to be trying to lose. But everyone is different and Kessler had a lot of hard coaching apparently. LA getting him was big. Costly though
@jomasity@nbanerdd I think his attitude will be just fine being the center playing with Luka… in a big market. I wouldn’t blame any Jazz player that just went through this rebuild for having a bad attitude.
@hansenjames Part of it is coping, part of it was watching what he did to Rudy years ago. Part of it was the 3 straight triple doubles. Love a center that can pass and rebound. Just depends how much run he gets
@mrsunbubbles@tiffanee_dawn Yeah I thought he had some really good moments. I think he puts it together soon. Definitely like him better than the player coming in
@SleeperJazz Think it depends on who it is. I would prefer to keep him. No way the Jazz make him suffer through the rebuild just to trade him. He’s the perfect fit for any team
@KalshiHoops Jazz knew they would have to lose one of their big contracts in the next few years. That’s why they traded Kessler. Jazz will be paying Keyonte, JJJ, Markennen max contracts or close to max. No rush to trade anyone for the next couple seasons.
@AllInAbe I’ll take it but I need you to throw that bih on a bet for me and show me what we got. Better yet. Put it towards a sub for your stuff and throw the rest on a winner
