My wife @MayaElzDavis_ and I were able to not only meet Mr. @JabariJYoung in-person for the first time, we were also able to host him in an intimate conversation at our private members-only wine Cellar in Beverly Hills.

🍷🥃 About the Meeting

@JabariJYoung, myself and wife have all been connected on @LinkedIn for sometime but never had the opportunity to cross paths in-person until now.

Last week he posted on LinkedIn 🔗https://t.co/mt9HVjEBzn — stating that he was in town for the @MilkenInstitute Conference. Given that my wife @MayaElzDavis_ and I not only reside in Beverly Hills, we have a business there as well, so I commented on his post inviting him to our Cellar.

He not only responded, he told me to DM him the details and I did. Thereafter, he called me and we had a nice conversation (of which I won’t disclose the details), which led to him keeping his word to come and meet with us. *The irony is, he went directly to the airport after.

As he entered the Cellar I could see the same spark in his eyes I noticed when he speaks to black entrepreneurs on his show. Although he learned about my wife and I’s Wine business, that’s not the main reason we had him there.

After explaining the business-model of the Cellar, having some scotch with him, showing the private lockers and cigar lounge, my wife and I was able to give him, a quick but thorough, overview of what we call the: Davis-Sivad Family Wealth Map wherein we’ve outlined how our entire business + family ecosystem is established, for which our net worths flows. All of which is anchored with our family office / trust: Sivad Estate Trust (SET), our human-enhancement tech company: @LabsCompanies and our social-taste super app: @YuhmmyApp.

He was impressed with @YuhmmyApp 2.0 (releasing this summer).

We were in conversation about our upcoming media rollout and press release (which is not for this post) and detailing some ideas around @Forbes + @ForbesBLK’s partnership-perspective.

Nothing to announce here yet but there is more to the story. We’ll keep you apprised.
