Liberal Mass Immigration Minister Marc Miller claims that Canada needs 100,000 construction workers and that “a good chunk of them will have to be filled by foreign labour” and without the provinces “getting rid of some of the accreditation” standards, which are intended to ensure quality workers, “we will continue to contribute to the sense that we are doing this in an unplanned and un-thought-through fashion.”

There is a massive housing shortage and the federal government wants to bring in huge numbers of people (who won’t have housing) to replace Canadian construction workers, and, while they’re at it, they want the standards for the foreign workers dropped, so they will appear to be qualified when, in reality, they are not.

What a pathetic government Canada has. They have the most clueless plans, which make every problem worse than ever before.
