Neutrals may not know the tale of Marcel Seip.
Former Argyle manager, then Blackpool gaffer, Ian Holloway signed the Dutch CB on a month-long loan after he was transfer listed.
Argyle then allowed Seip to play against them and he marked his debut with a headed goal from a Charlie Adam free-kick around the half hour mark.
After the game, he was seen giving a thumbs up to the Argyle chairman - who is the father of his now wife.
Typical Argyle.

People like this are the lifeblood of a football club, a face you see home and away; the definition of a cult hero to those who traipse up and down the country every week. These are the sort of people who should be celebrated far more within the game.
RIP Norm.
