@bigrotter @JoshLFC1909 Listening to the audio, that was the clear error. ‘Check complete’ but no ‘outcome’, ie, goal stands or ‘offside stands’.
Just complete breakdown in communication. Also laughable when the VAR was asked a question and just said ‘yeah’. 🫣

It’s not tolerated in rugby, so there’s no chance bad language will be picked up by broadcasters. This is the only reason I see for the audio not used.
