It's pretty amazing how different the final moments of John Cena and AJ Styles careers were.
John Cena was preparing for this moment for the long time, he chose the date and knew it's coming. In the final seconds, he was ready for his career to be over and smiled while tapping out.
AJ Styles didn't want it to be his last match, he wasn't accepting that Gunther is actually gonna end his career. Styles was talking about farewell tour, facing his former rivals for the last time. He was desperate, he was fighting to the end and didn't give up. After the match, he was shocked and emotional, slowly realizing it's actually over.
Amazing storytelling #royalRumble
We knew this. John is John. A traditional man. Tradition says, you stare up at the lights. And now he’s made the ultimate villain in the process. Well. Next to the tribal chief
This wasn’t a “I can’t take it anymore” tap out. It was the tap out of a guy who gave it his all to get out of this monster’s hold but has now accepted his fate. The way his face goes from struggling to just relaxing, accepting his fate is just so poetic.
@strangerman3 @HEAVENINBL00M Yeah, he talked about it on his podcast. He complained that every song sounded the same and that the riffs weren't "fun" enough?! You're also spot on about him being one of those fans that are annoying about The Dark Pool haha
@multiversus Yo why can’t we gain xp anymore, was one tier away from Jason and I was going to get him tonight also can’t by the tiers to make up for it
