I’m also a Christian and I belong to the body of Christ that I love. However, let’s apply wisdom with these topics and not be in a haste to try and support our religious leaders. He has a platform. He has an influential voice. If he is saying that 90% of women are lying about sexual assault in his ministry. It’s giving room for extrapolation. This is a sensitive topic and the sample size is small. For instance, that message has reached millions of people that are not in his ministry. There is room to extrapolate and misinterpret. And even for the “10%” of women that are not lying in his ministry this could foster silence as they might be viewed as liars.

Step back and look at this with a pair of fresh objective eyes and see why we are pointing out that this is a dangerous message.
