I killed my first deer when I was 16 half a mile from where this buck went down. A lot has changed since then, but Idaho public lands are still incredible. They never make it easy, but there is nothing quite like filling the freezer with wild game from our state’s wildest places.

Fire Ops yesterday was an awesome experience. Huge thanks to @ProFFIdaho for making this happen. Breaking down doors, dragging dummies through smoke filled rooms, putting out fires, climbing ladders, and more made me respect these public servants even more than I already did!

Spent my day at the Leadership in Nuclear Energy meeting. Learned a lot. Idaho is leading the charge in many ways, but we also have things we need to do better. Other states are realizing the potential, and we should make sure we capitalize on all the research we've been doing.
