Today is an incredibly important day - it is World Suicide Prevention Day 💛

Changing the narrative on suicide aims to inspire people to engage in open and honest discussions about suicide. We can break down barriers, raise awareness, and create better cultures of understanding.

The Carsington Unit, a 54-bed facility, is located on a specialist site for mental health care which, when complete, will include a new Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, providing greater support locally and an easier step down to wider facilities, including rehab services. 🧵

Today's move follows months of preparation and a significant amount of hard work from our fantastic teams to ensure that our patients experienced a calm, stress-free transition, with as little disturbance to their routine as possible. 🧵
