@genesgal @VirginExp Absolute farce, I got a DM from a manager. Offered to refund me (which I requested days ago). But it was on a one off occasion as I was outside their refund period, although that had been extended till 15th January anyway. Can’t even quote their own policies correctly! #Useless

@genesgal @VirginExp I’m pretty sure their business plan is to get customers to buy vouchers they can’t redeem so they don’t have to pay out to the suppliers, and hope that we just forget about it.

@genesgal @VirginExp They’re very quick to apologise and tell me it’s the suppliers fault. But you mention a refund and they go awfully quiet. A 15 minute phone call and this could have been solved a week ago.

@genesgal @VirginExp It’s appalling service, and interesting to see that they regularly cancel experiences and expect the customer to hand over more cash. There is a sincere lack of understanding from the customer service teams. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not all just an automated reply

@VirginExp @GordonRamsayGRR We have spoken, I was told that the experience I purchased 4 weeks ago had been withdrawn as they had a backlog of bookings because it was popular. But if I wanted to still do the experience I could pay another £60 for the ‘new version’
