Diehard, East Coast 49ers fan who should actually be a GM in the NFL. Chicago Bulls, Ohio State Buckeyes, New Jersey Devils, and UConn Huskies all share the 🎤
@VinnysCorner1 As much as I hate the Lakers, the 2000-2001 Lakers were the most dominant playoff team ever, in terms of wins/losses. Only ONE game lost.
Not taking anything away from Zeke. As a Bulls fan, I HATE the Pistons. But I’m also impartial, and Zeke was a dude I admired in the 80s. I recognize real, even when they don’t play in a Bulls uniform. That ‘88 Pistons team was deeper than that ‘06 Heat team. Yes, Zeke was injured, but that injury didn’t happen until game 6. Still, that grit he showed in a losing effort, in 7 games, won’t be forgotten. Wade, with a still viable Shaq, carried that team to a championship, against a vastly favored team.
@RazAlGhul15@WhozMEECH Learn to read dude. The Celtics teams that Jordan faced were a homegrown, Hall of Fame juggernaut squad. Even with him being a better player than any of them, it’s still a team sport and the next best player on that Bulls team was a washed up George Gervin.
@BrickNemeth@WhozMEECH Reading is fundamental.
The Celtics teams that MICHAEL JEFFREY JORDAN faced, were a homegrown, HALL OF FAME TEAM. No way he by himself was beating them with the squad he had in Chicago at the time.
@TheJordanTruth Jordan spent a lot of time learning how to win. Once he accomplished that, he sat at the big boys table and never played with his food.
What did John Stockton, Allen Iverson or Steve Nash accomplish though? Stockton was never 1A. Nash never even played in the Finals. Iverson went to the Finals once,
(albeit against that Lakers juggernaut that only lost ONE game in the entire playoffs), and never returned. If anything, Brunson is the outlier.
@Tonysmarkettips Definitely wasn’t fair, but one game shouldn’t decide it all. Lamar Jackson’s 2023 MVP was one of the most underwhelming I’d ever been witness to. Especially in this modern era of pass happy football.
@Tonysmarkettips I totally agree. Outside of that Christmas Night meltdown by Brock Purdy against the Ravens in 2023, he was playing better than Lamar Jackson, who took home the hardware. Wonder if Russini had any influence on that since the national media has a massive hate boner for Purdy.
