… and rest! Making the most of my last early finish to the term, in Tenerife! New start in September, returning to the state sector and very much looking forward to starting at St Benedict’s, Bury St Edmunds. Now, where can I find myself a barraquito?
@ZelenskyyUa This is a photo of Sir Winston Churchill visiting the White House during the Second World War. He'd have been proud of you today Volodymyr.
Russia illegally and unjustifiably invaded Ukraine.
For three years now, Ukrainians have fought with courage and resilience. Their fight for democracy, freedom, and sovereignty is a fight that matters to us all.
Canada will continue to stand with Ukraine and Ukrainians in achieving a just and lasting peace.
Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people.
Be strong, be brave, be fearless.
You are never alone, dear President @ZelenskyyUa.
We will continue working with you for a just and lasting peace.
Calling all bilingual people! One of my students would be very grateful if you would complete this brief form as part of his EPQ research. He is particularly interested to hear from parents of bilingual children too. Many thanks! #mfltwitterati

@SaraBon53001183@alisonpearsonSW It’s a norm-referenced exam, not criterion-referenced. It’s not necessarily that you need other ways to educate but a different system to assess. Heads of Department up and down the country regularly have to defend exam results they have very little control over because of this.
@CarmenZamanillo@VEverettmfl I agree - I haven’t done a listening exercise in class (in the way we usually think of ‘listening exercises’) since around 1998!
So she’s pleaded guilty to ‘assault by beating’. If this happened in Spain and a milkshake was chucked over someone, would that be ‘assault by batido’? https://t.co/3Sq0jGFWhv
Thank you @spsmith45 ! New posts coming soon on Lesson Menus, next steps with the Ongoing Team Competition and what we plan to do with speaking under (in spite of!) the new GCSE 😁
