Letting yourself be loved can be challenging - especially if you don't view yourself as worthy of it. As Stephen Chbosky said, "We accept the love we think we deserve." Picture how you would let yourself be loved if you knew you were enough...what would that look like?

If you had to choose, would you rather be liked or respected? I know, I know - it's a tricky question. Personally, I would choose respected, but my actions often say that I prioritize being liked more. So, I understand the struggle. Is your answer in alignment with your actions?

Sometimes, it's hard to see things clearly when we're standing too close - like when we're looking at ourselves. We need an outside perspective. I'd like to be that person for you today, friend. You have value. You matter. Right now, flaws and all.

Do you ever get stuck trying to start something because you think you have to be perfect at it from the beginning? While you're worrying about what you should be doing, you're actually doing nothing. My advice? Start. You don't have to be perfect, but you do have to start.

Feeling comfortable shouldn't always be the goal - sometimes, we're meant to feel uncomfortable. During periods of growth. Breaking patterns that aren't serving us. Unlearning harmful behaviors. There's a place for discomfort.

Moments of uncertainty impact us all in different ways. Do you freeze up? Do you thrive? Do you feel the need to isolate? Do you lash out? There's no right or wrong answer, but being aware of your gut reaction can be helpful and give you the tools to handle these moments.

Sometimes, you're actually busy, but other times, being "busy" is an excuse that keeps you from facing something you need to address. The next time you catch yourself saying, "Oh, I'm too busy for that..." I'd love for you to take an extra moment to consider which scenario it is.

Consciously or not, we often make decisions based on how we think they'll be perceived by others. But you are the only person who has to fall asleep to the sound of your own heartbeat. You deserve to be your true, authentic self.

We all have patterns that we fall into, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Some patterns are productive. But it's always a good idea to keep reassessing your patterns - are your patterns serving you? Or are you in the habit of serving your patterns?
