@ByDavidMurphy I think these questions are answered pretty easily. They made a commitment to 3 guys in their early to mid thirties for an extensive amount of years. When you do that the answer is always to trade long term for short term. Not my preference but that’s what they did.

@MarcSDuffy If they had an offseason like last summer after qualifying for Champions League I think that tells you all you need to know. They might be owned by the Saudis and have money but established top players don't seem to want to come/stay and I don't see a plan to fix it.
