Finally took some time to update the 'list of Hugo nominated things I've reviewed' in light of the 2025 nominees being out.
I had read exactly zero of the novel nominations, but had some posts relevant for: novella, best series, and new writer. Enjoy!

Been a while since I got anything posted on the blog, but did managed to review a certain successful sci-fi film currently in theaters . . . It's #ProjectHailMary and it was awesome.

Doing a rewind on the blog today. Replaying an old videogame, which honestly felt like a huge part of my childhood, but looking back at old saves, was apparently only 3 hrs worth of my childhood lol. Enjoy my review of #PrinceOfPersia#SandsOfTime

Doing the Lord's work promoting libraries! 🤩
Just finished the #CurseBearer series he talks about (reviews up on the blog soon).
He picks up The Witcher for his next Slavic Fantasy. Curious what he thinks. In some ways similar, in others very different.

Another book review up on the blog today! We're taking a look at Emily Jane's 'On Earth As It Is On Television'.
It's a #funny (and slightly #existential) riff on #firstcontact with aliens. A thoroughly enjoyable ride. Check out my review:

Have read relatively few of this year's #HugoAward contenders, but did managed to finish Adrian Tchaikovsky's 'Service Model'. Only a bit late lol 😅
Here's my review. Enjoy!

Well it's only been like 3 years since I've come across another example of #3DPrintingInFiction but Adrian Tchaikovsky's Service Model briefly nods at it in a workshop at a manor house . . . I'll take it!
I think I'm missing the sand beneath my toes a bit lol. Here's 5 books I've Read at the Beach, though most of them I'd hardly call "#BeachReads" hahah.
Enjoy!
