🙏🏻 so much to @DBertulis who led an amazing poetry day today with Y5 & Y6 from @Welford, @JamesWPrimary & @stmichaelsb21.
Children wrote stunning poetry about colours & space 🪐 🚀 … we loved having you at our school to inspire & support creative writing ✍️💜
@AuthorsAbroad_
Well done to the young people from @JamesWPrimary who took part in our @YourSchoolGames Play Leaders training this afternoon! Looking forward to seeing you all inspire your peers to achieve 60 active minutes!
Right - let’s settle this once and for all. We are looking for subject boards to be placed in each of our classrooms and we can’t seem to make up our minds on the best colour. We need your help…
Which colour design to you prefer?
Comment #1 for the black or #2 for the white.
Good luck to @JamesWPrimary@PagetPrimary who will be representing the partnership at the @YourSchoolGames Year 5+6 Sports Hall Athletics Birmingham Finals today - have an amazing time!
Yesterday our green mentor, Stephen attended @JamesWPrimary as they launched their green programme during the school assembly! Stephen and the green influencers at James Watt Primary are working really hard to make difference! Well done! #savetheplanet#school#children#change
Today we witnessed 50 of our Y5 attend The Rep to see @FloellaBenjamin play ‘Coming to England’. Having already read the book, seeing this come to life was amazing. For some, this was the first time going to the theatre. Huge thanks to @julenearobinson for an amazing performance.
Y5 have been studying the life of @FloellaBenjamin & we are thrilled to visit The Rep Theatre during half term to see the award winning show ‘Coming to England’.
For many, this would be the first time visiting the theatre so we are all really excited. 🎭🎟️🍿🎬
A fab AIM High maths day organised by @AuthorsAbroad_ today, run by maths specialist Hazel Large - Y5 & 6 chn from Welford, Wattville, @St_francisb19 & @JamesWPrimary worked in pairs to solve algebraic problems & also tried to complete a deceptively simple looking tangram!🤯🤪👏🏻
Today, 420 of our pupils walked 5 mins down the road to New Road Memorial SDA church for a Xmas assembly retelling the Nativity through readings and song.
Massive thank you to all our parents, staff and pupils.
Today was very special indeed 🎅❄️😊❤️
Today we remembered all those brave soldiers in a special Remembrance Day Assembly. Thank you to Miss Clay who shared personal and pertinent stories about her uncles, grandfather and father who fought bravely for our country.
