El Gobierno de España condena la pena de muerte contra palestinos que acaba de aprobar el parlamento de Israel. Se trata de una medida asimétrica que no se aplicaría a los israelíes que cometieran los mismos delitos.
Mismo crimen, distinta pena.
Eso no es justicia. Es un paso más hacia el apartheid.
El mundo no puede callar.
Trump said we had to attack Iran because we can‘t allow it “to have a nuclear weapon.” Really?
This is the same president who, in June, said: “Iran’s nuclear facilities have been obliterated.”
Vietnam. Iraq. Iran. Another lie. Another war.
For me, a vote against this proposal is a vote for club players all over the country. Certainty of fixtures and a small portion of the good weather to play their games in.
A vote for is for casual inter-county supporters, media outlets & expensive backroom. That’s who benefits.
From a European perspective, this is genuinely embarrassing.
A Team USA athlete, Hunter Hess, has apparently criticised the United States while abroad, and the response being celebrated in the headline is not a calm rebuttal or a dignified clarification, but a president publicly going after him in a punishing, performative way. Even the wording, “eviscerates”, signals the point is humiliation, not leadership. It frames the country like a reality show where loyalty tests and public shaming are treated as governance.
You would have to search far and wide to find a country that manages to look this ugly in its politics and public behaviour, and a president who so perfectly mirrors it. In most democracies, a leader would rise above it, defend the country’s values without acting personally wounded, and avoid turning a citizen into a national punching bag. This is not strength and the MAGA regime drags the entire country’s reputation down. AGAIN!!
It reads like third world level political theatre
Colin Corkery on the 45 lets go with the right boot. It's over the bar. This man shouldn’t be playing football. He’s made an almost Lazarus-like recovery from a heart condition. Lazarus was a great man but he couldn’t kick points like Colin Corkery.

The gamble for Liverpool’s board is not in giving Mo Salah, a supremely fit and dedicated 32-year-old, a new contract close to what he may want in length/finance. The gamble for Liverpool would be in trying to find a Moneyball replacement who can come anywhere close to Salah's combination of brilliance, popularity, role model status and performance (167 goals, 75 assists in 275 PL appearances; this season, 10 goals, 6 assists in 12 PL). FSG aren't stupid. Salah's numbers demand he be kept. Liverpool's pursuit of trophies demands he be kept, let alone the fans' love for a special player and person. Surely some compromise can be reached with an even more performance-related deal. If Salah does fade at 34/35, Liverpool can still sell him to Saudi. #LFC
17 - Mohamed Salah's goals & assists have been worth 17 points to Liverpool this season, the most of any player in the division. Without them, Chelsea would lead the league table, and Liverpool would be 13th. Indispensable.

Absolutely delighted for Caoimhin Kelleher. Often harshly criticised he showed his true class today. For a number two he's been involved in some of the greatest moments in Jurgen Klopp's time at Liverpool.
