- Jonas was in ICU 3 months (I'd say that's a big one 🙄)
- Pogacar not breaking his wrist & better team.

@AndrzejWicherek @BenjiNaesen I agree, I think on the last climb to the finish if Jonas attacks Pog won't be able to follow. Pog was clearly cooked after the penultimate climb, felt like he could barely do turns to pull.

@MyWildLove1 @TennisPodcast I wasn't there, so quite possibly but didn't seem extensive from what I saw. I think he just uses it as motivation which is his prerogative. Just seemed quite OTT, like he said, he's had far, far more hostile crowds than that and probably said nothing in the interview.

I'm not arguing that he USUALLY gets better in the third week, I'm saying because he couldn't train this is very much not a usual circumstance.

@TrondLewis @lucasaganronald How is it possible for a guy with far less preparation to get better in the third week once fatigue starts kicking in? It makes no sense. He surely hasn't got the base he needs to be able to accumulate that fatigue. He should get worse compared to those with better prep.

@cyclingmole I would be worried if I was Pog. They have to be smart, I think they have to utilise Yates and Almeida (not sure Ayuso looks right) to get Jonas to follow attacks and wear him out. Jonas (if 100%?) has Pogs number up pretty much any climb over the last 2 addition of the tour.

@RpedroS27 @AstonMartin_FI 18 seconds behind McLaren wasn't the true gap in performance as Alonso was put on a sub optimal strategy to try and catch a safety car. Probably more like 7-8 seconds behind McLaren. Still not good though.

@TennisPodcast Clearly both nursing injuries (Alcaraz more), not extending themselves too much. Most of the first set was fairly poor I thought. Nadal serving quite well though.
