See what Women's Basketball player Jamie Peffer had to say about Dr. Matthew Howell, Visting Assistant Professor of Biology!
An amazing visit and official offer from Westminster College! Thank you @CoachTWC for giving me this opportunity and a thank you to the girls for being so welcoming!!
Had to share this from a fan...
"But the greatest moment for me wasn’t any of those, it was this one, by this Weatherford team!! #11 (Jackson Smith) a Freshman was open and he took his shot! The Douglass team guarded the three best players hard in those last 5 seconds and he found himself wide open!! He could’ve been the hero….. but he missed and Douglass went on to win their 11th state title!
As he walked away he put his head down and I watched 3 of his teammates (15 (Nate Reherman)
,23 (Ethan Sage) and 24 (Tage Sage)) grab his head pull it up and tell him to keep his head up, keep your head up they repeated! They continued to encourage him as he beat himself up thinking he’d let his team down! He took a good shot, and when he was open!! He’s going to always remember what might have been but he definitely won’t forget how his teammates were there uplifting him in that moment!
I love this game so much! Days like today remind me why!! As I sat with my parents, Aunt, nieces, neighbors and Kyn I felt lucky to be able to witness so many amazing moments! At the end of the day all of these teams are filled with kids deciding to take that shot! I Can only hope because of this moment #11 never quits taking that shot!!!
Until next season Big House you definitely did NOT disappoint this year!!!"

Special moment in the Dale/Wister game. Wister junior Braeden Gerdes got to come in and hit a three for the Wildcats. Great sportsmanship here #OKPreps
