Trump proposed a new category of Limited Excepted Benefits for fertility
This would function similar to Vision or Dental where employees get the option to purchase the policy
This does create a lower friction route for employers to offer fertility coverage
But the concerns in the space are around adverse selection
IVF is still very expensive. If the only employees who elect the coverage are those who expect to use it, it’s likely to be pretty costly
Do you think this will expand access to IVF?
Starting your family shouldn't cost $30,000.
I'm proud to announce The American Baby Company (@AmericanBabyHQ) is launching our first clinic this fall in West Palm Beach, Florida.
IVF: $8,995
Egg freezing: $4,995
Medications included.
Last year, my fiancée and I went through four cycles of fertility treatment.
We learned that without special insurance coverage, most people cannot afford fertility care. Hundreds of thousands of Americans want to start their families, but are priced out of the care that could help them.
The future of fertility in America is transparent, affordable, and focused on what patients want: the chance to start or grow their families.
Please pass our message along to anyone in your life who we may be able to help.
Consultations begin this summer.
We're also hiring across clinical and laboratory roles.
Wall Street Fintech has just surpassed 1,000 subscribers!
I started writing a little over a year ago without any real expectations. I'm beyond excited (and a little bit surprised) that there are 1,000 of you who have signed up to read my musings on finance and technology.
Since April of last year we've covered topics including:
- BloombergGPT and the future of the analyst
- Trade settlement for syndicated loans
- BlackRock's Aladdin system
- Data businesses like Preqin and RCA
- The Definitive History of Private Credit
This writing journey has opened up a lot of doors and led to some really interesting conversations. I'm looking forward to what's in store.
In private credit, all roads lead to Michael Milken.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Drexel Burnham Lambert revolutionized high-yield corporate lending. After the bank collapsed in 1990, Drexel alumni dispersed across Wall Street and set the stage for today's $1.6tn private credit market.

🤖 BloombergGPT is going to replace the analyst 👨💻
Analysts are fundamentally chat-based interfaces that senior finance professionals use to gather, organize, and output data. 🧵
When writing a cover letter, make sure to check these boxes:
✅ Who are you?
✅ How will your skills transfer to this job?
✅ What will the company get if they hire you?

I am so proud of our players. Their commitment to medical guidelines to stay safe has showed their resolve in preparing the right way for the season. They deserve to play this fall. They have worked so hard for this. Let’s fight for them and find a way. #WeWantToPlay
With all of the anger, frustration and chaos in the world today, it is very hard to process emotions, especially as they run heavy. I encourage everyone to write down what they are feeling, seeing and experiencing during this time. We are the ones making and writing history. #BLM
Look at how quickly everyday lives changed when everyone was “at risk” of getting COVID19. Imagine if everyone was treated as unjustly as black Americans like George Floyd. If everyone was at risk of that (police brutality) - how quickly would our system change?
“The police [weren’t] believing any of us. Nothing was happening,” one student said. “I felt scared to go downstairs in my apartment alone.”
Me and @hope_m_dean spent weeks working on this story for @TheAlligator. This is what we learned: https://t.co/cT2IiDX7LA
