This why I had to attend the opening ceremony of Jamaica Manufaturers and Exporters Associations’ Expo. “Connecting Jamaica to the World” at the national arena.

There are over 230 local manufacturers showcasing their goods and services. I felt good meeting and buying from many of them.

Of course there is a demand for Jamaican content but we haven’t done much to commercialize this and it’s primarily based on the structures we have in place which can be easily fixed if we start to invest.
