learn your data structures, discrete math, and computer architecture, kids! seriously. it's not all front-end js code and rainbows in this cruel world.
It’s true that you don’t need a CS degree to become a developer
But I’m starting to think we’ve undersold the importance of having a solid understanding of computer science if you want to be a great developer
@PierrePoilievre still waiting for a fucking shred of evidence showing that housing will improve if the pesky gov't were to get out of the way. but we're not here for facts, are we?
@telefontelaviv but playing ambiguous modal chords on my piano for hours without actually coming up with anything makes my brain go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
you ever think about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got a $30 million podcast deal from Spotify and they haven’t put out a single episode and it’s been over a year and we get an eighth of a penny per stream
@edthesoundman the jury is still out on this and will be for a while imo. like most technology, the amount of harm or good that will come with it will ultimately be decided by how we use it.
@_Jambax@xzcendence 1660Ti does great with UE5! Runs Lyra at 100+ fps if I remember correctly. Might be worth getting a used 20 series though at this point; they are probably where the 10 series was 3 years ago used price wise.
@xzcendence@_Jambax Rocking a 1660Ti still, and while it didn't run Cyberpunk on ultra at 60fps I also don't give a fuck. It did very high @ a stable 40fps and was a great experience. Runs UE5 like a champ too. I paid $250CAD for it nearly 3 years ago now with no plans to upgrade anytime soon.
@LoganPaul@coffeebreak_YT it's entirely your choice to be a total scumbag and a mind poison for an entire generation, just so you know. you have the power to stop the bullshit anytime you want. until then, I am enjoying the show 😎
