I have just heard that Palestinian parents are writing the names of their children on their bodies so that they can be identified if they are killed. How absolutely shocking and obscene that we are all not calling for an immediate ceasefire.

Can I re-write an ABC news report? Rather than starting with Hamas militants firing rockets during Passover, can we start the report with: 'two nights after Israeli soldiers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque injuring civilians during Ramadan, rockets were launched in retaliation'.

@news_australian This is a hard one. Mardi Gras was conceived in protest but this protest doesn't seem to be related at all to the issues that Mardi Gras highlights. It sort of feels like Mardi Gras was highjacked - but isn't this the nature of protest?
