@thysss50227967 This kind of people don't care about the medium itself. They just want to be part of a fandom, any fandom, to fulfill their social needs. They just won't admit it snd jump thrpugh any hoops to justify their refusing to interact with the medium.
@TamamoTailFluff@Kaorumitsurugi The beatemup comparison is a half joke, half truth, because majority of the game is just going in a corridor-like screen with battles in the middle, and honestly the beatemup similarities are too funny to ignore. I'm not trying to get technical on it.
@Kaorumitsurugi All the worldbuilding that would give you context of everything happening, in any other RPG would be presented during conversations, videos, or in-game items. In FFXIII, they were so lazy that they just put it in a wiki. An ACTUAL wiki, mind you, I'm not being sarcastic.
@Kaorumitsurugi After all the cideos redirects to an in-game wikipedia in the game menu that autoupdates explaining all the events and terms used during conversations. All the necessary lore to understand the plot is in a fucking wiki. This is why the narrative is all over the place.
@Shredder1400 Because FFVII Remake is NOT a remake. And I'm not being a purist here: FFVII Remake is literally a SEQUEL to the original FFVII. The subtitle "remake" is to play with the player expectations. I feel the need to explain this because a lot of people tend to ignore it.
@TrueSpartanMKVI@PvtAdorable@UMR_SW Or even versions of existing 2.0 kits that could recycle runners and be more easy to develop, like the gouf custom, as there is already the gouf 2.0
@JustPlants31 Bandai is somehow obsessed with geographical locking their releases, moving the majority of production of some lines to that geographic locking while starving international retail new releases... it's just bonkers.
@St1ka After 5 they stopped using numbers and only put subtitles like Will Maker: The Reckoning or Will Maker: Dream Match.
Until the 12th entry that they only called " Will Maker", which fucked up any searchs for the original game in perpetuity.
Now the fans call it Will Maker (2008)
@mitsumaru_SV I pay for the chinese copy almost as much as a legal pbandai kit would cost if I was allowed to buy it officially. I wish pbandai would lift the buying restrictions so I could get an official kit which are better, but it is what it is.
@mitsumaru_SV Bandai has been very direct in that they don't want europeans to buy pbandai kits. So I either pay a scalper triple for the kit plus shipping and taxes (which none of that money goes to bandai and I'd still be doing prohibited by bandai) or I get a copy from China.
