My friends tween daughter comes over once a month for a sleepover and movie night and she often brings a stuffed animal, it's a snuggle comfort thing for when she's away from home.

Well I can not tell you how loud she screamed with delight, when she realised I had the same one on my bookshelf in green! Totally melted my heart when she said 'best friends forever, like you and me!!'

I gave her the biggest hug and wiped a little tear away. My friend Phil died of cancer a couple of years ago, sadly very close to Christmas and because of this, she hasn't enjoyed Christmas the last couple of years. Similar story to me as I lost my Dad at Christmas as well. It honestly made me so happy seeing her so excited at my Christmas decorations! I lost the joy of Christmas for many years so spending time together, talking about our Dad's, even though its Christmas was one of the most special moments I think I have ever had. I just wanted to share 🥰🥰🥰
