I can report from my sector that for many the lights literally went out as soon as the new govt started warning about its budget in the summer. Since then things have got a lot worse. The PMI surveys and outlook are dire.
This Labour govt talks growth but its actions will lead to a recession.
The employment agency we use is calling us almost daily. Normally at this time of year they struggle to find you Labour. Now they have an abundance of people that no-one is requiring.
Last week was our worst week for orders since Covid.
This is not global events. This is not inherited. This is all due to policies announced by a socialist government.

I posted this video of my Dad and it was seen by 338k people and attracted some wonderful comments.

It is with very sad news to say that Robert passed away this morning following a late diagnosis and very short battle with cancer.

He was a lifelong rugby fan and @SaintsRugby man and attended since 1956.

He left this world with Saints as champions of England and the knowledge that his moment of joy was enjoyed by thousands of others.
God bless you dad. xxx

So that’s now up to 20 season ticket and die hard @SaintsRugby fans who I know, can’t watch the biggest game we’ve had for a decade because @ChampionsCup provide a 6 day notice for a qrt final and then time it at 8pm on a Saturday night. I hope it’s still a sellout but don’t mistake empty seats for lack of interest.
Clubs need to maximise revenues, not sabotage their best earning days. @premrugby agreed to this. Never again.
