On the second day of winter, I woke to my father telling me that the first man I ever loved would die that day.
My Abuelo, grandfather, would not see Christmas. https://t.co/bZncD72nVB
Hey @NPR I think an old morning edition is playing on Apple radio from Thursday, June 9 instead of today.
I heard all of these stories and discussions last week from you.
Listening to the instrumentals of #dosoruguitas on @NPR All Things Considered before 7 a.m. caught me so off guard I’m crying. The magnitude of @Lin_Manuel’s impact on every Latinx child in this country, for each little one who gets to believe we cannot be erased now. Thank you.
@tjentz I vaulted over an auditorium wall in the middle of a choir live broadcast to answer my super’s call & put out a comms to all staff & families in the middle of the performance yesterday. We’ve had multiple issues with @TikTokComms as a platform hosting bullying, disruptive threats
@SoSaysLucia 😬 reminds me of a case I’ve been following down here where a local woman allegedly used a stolen identity of a NW Ohio nurse to practice nursing in local nursing homes for a couple years in Washington County. She was back in court Thursday upset that I was there to cover her.
@rlnave Bruh; I’ve gone from fishing waders, to s**t kickers and knee deep in cow manure... to court in stilettos in a day.
But shoulders, bosoms and ankles are a bit...
The bottom line here is @GovMikeDeWine set a specific case count target for Ohio to hit in order to remove health orders
He's stuck by that number for months, but suddenly reversed course today. Then essentially tried to bury that fact by announcing a mega vaccine lottery
To recap Gov. Mike DeWine's statewide address:
- Nearly all health orders will be lifted by June 2
- Ages 12-15 can get vaccinated starting tomorrow
- $1M drawing for any adult who got the vaccine
- Full-Ride College Scholarship drawing for anyone ages 12-17 who gets the vaccine
78% of Ohioans over 65 have been fully vaccinated, and every from 12 years old up can be vaccinated starting tomorrow. So @GovMikeDeWine says statewide restrictions such as the mask mandate put into place in July can be lifted. "So It is time to end the health orders."
