1. On-the-ball ability. Messi edges slightly in dribbling but Ronaldo has better use of his weaker foot and more shot power.
Proof: He has more weaker-foot goals than most strikers in history and has scored a Puskas-worthy goal from 40 yards.
2. Physical ability. Messi can’t replicate the goal Ronaldo scored vs Juventus.
3. Integrity: A big portion of Messi’s legacy is tied up in controversies from the Negreira case to the one that played out in the FIFA 2022 and 2026 World Cup.
4. Natural: Messi is known to have used growth hormones for most of his early life. Ronaldo did not have to do that.
5. Moments: Ronaldo has given me the comeback against Atletico and Juventus against all odds. Messi’s strength is in Di Maria.

You have to think clearly and critically. Ronaldo is an emotional guy. He wears his emotions on his sleeves and he has always been like that, so I wonder why his crying bothers you. He is competitive. But as I said earlier, Ronaldo is the GOAT not based on that but because of his feats of valor. He has countless moments like that. I will take the comeback against Juventus over MOST of what Messy has done in is career. Prove me wrong
