Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.

They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

@evune I remember these dresses! I was a Betsey Johnson (or Pink Lady as we were all affectionately called) Area Manager for 10 years. I still have hundreds of Betsey pieces as part of our pay was a very generous clothing allowance 💕💋💗
