Things Keir Starmer taught me:
Politicians can have morals
When others demean themselves, leave them to it
When others go low, go higher
Service should be the only reason to want to be a PM
Being humble is more attractive than arrogance
Handle all circumstances with grace
I don’t think Mason is a moron. I do think the senior BBC news desk is overpaid & overrated . There is none of the quality of John Cole, Buerk, Sissons , Paxmen & Maitlis. BBC has always been pro Tory. Now they’re flirting with fascists. We pay for unbiased, we should get it.
Do you think the BBC played a big part in the mainstream media campaign that helped to bring down Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer?🤔

If I thought that this labour coup had been done in the best interests of our country, I would try & accept it. However I actually think it has been done by bitter, vengeful, self-interested people who wanted punishKeir Starmer for not listening to them or doing things their way.
Have just watched #BBCNewswatch and Chris Mason being interviewed in response to numerous complaints.He finds it offensive what people are saying. I'll tell you what Weasel, it's you who is offensive trying to justify the rubbish that your dept put out. Sack Mason.
@theipaper You people in the media have no self awareness. It’s you that played a huge part in the removal of Keir Starmer. Fuck the lot of you. #ScumMedia
We voted for Starmer for lots of reasons.
Change
Confidence in delivering a manifesto
But more than that.
Integrity
And
Non corruptible
@UKLabour MP’s don’t have first idea what they have done to the membership and the public by doing this unsavoury coup.
@LBC@SkyNews
Chris Mason can convince himself otherwise and say what he likes, but we've got eyes and ears, and his pessimistic anti-Starmerism on the #BBC since the moment Labour took office has become a running joke in our household. Though unfortunately it's serious.
@ChrisMasonBBC
What a very smug performance. Given a list of things viewers did not like he basically said the viewers are wrong and he knows best. Constantly having what a serious occasion it was he should have been shown the pictures of him and Kaye laughing. A jolly at our expense
Honestly @ChrisMasonBBC your appearance on @newswatchbbc was arrogant and defiant!
Your and your colleagues’ behaviour in the last couple of weeks has been abhorrent!
You’re no journalist, Chris, you’re a overpaid sounding board for your right wing bosses. Twat!
Mason, Kuenssberg, Zeffman et al repeatedly turned to the same Labour MPs to attack Starmer, while reporting claims from unnamed ‘sources’ as fact rather than recognising they often had their own agendas — They’ve done as much as anyone to destroy trust in the BBC

I'm yet to see a comment on Chris Mason that is in support of him.
The fact that he doesn't agree with the public views on he himself and BBC politics in general tells you all you need to know about his idea of democracy.
Aren't reporters there to report the news, not make it?
Chris Mason on Newswatch this morning trying to defend the BBC coverage of of Starmer resigning+Burnhams journey from M/chester to London.The use of Helicopters following his route to Parliament was questioned by viewers as was the number of BBC reporters used+he failed miserably
Chris Mason on BBC this morning defending the impartiality of the BBC re Starmer and denying any suggestion he has personally been biased or treated Starmer with contempt.
Absolutely no self awareness from a dreadful political spokesman who should be sacked. #SackChrisMason
