Praying for #synod. After a couple of years offering pastoral support at the London sessions, it feels strange not to be there. Synod members: go gently with yourselves and one another, don't forget to drink water and get some fresh air. And feel free to DM with prayer requests.

Talking to a GP in a university medical practice he’s noticed that he’s never had a geography student present with mental health concerns. Only anecdotal but it’s a great subject to study🙂

I’d like to pay tribute to Fr David Pycock who let up a Youth Club for 11-16’s @stlaurenceb31 in the first Covid summer then moved to St Leonard’s, Loddon, @CofEWinchester and set up another within a year of arrival. Sadly he died just before Christmas aged 72. RIP

@mrdavidrowe I’ve not been involved in quite as many churches but as a keen ecumenist I echo much of what David writes. I once gave a sermon on The wedding at Cana in Week of Prayer for Christian Unity with 6 bottles of ‘wine’ linked to 6 Christian Denominations!
