🎵 Who is like unto thee, O Lord?
Who is like unto thee, O Lord?
Among the gods, who is like thee?
You are Glorious in holiness,
And fearful in praises,
(You are always) doing wonders,
Hallelujah 🎵
It’s actually crazy how you grow up thinking home-cooked meals every day are just normal, then get older and realise how much time and effort it took your Mom to make that happen and how lucky you were to have that.
Once you leave a nonfunctioning society like Nigeria, there are certain conversations that will become strange to you.
Electricity. What do you mean there is no light? For hours? Days? And people are just expected to carry on with their lives?
You have to buy water to drink, cook and bathe in your own home?
You mean a journey that should take 30 minutes takes three hours because the government cannot maintain roads despite collecting tax?
What do you mean you cannot trust the police to protect you?
Doctors are asking patients to buy gloves and syringes? An escalator failure kïlled a doctor in the capital and wasn’t fixed years on?
You mean you have to negotiate with kidnappers to get your loved ones back?
You will discover millions of people around you have lived their entire lives without having to think about any of these things.
You will feel weak then finally get mad over how much of your life was spent compensating for a government that fvcking refused to do its job!!!
I might get cancelled for this But I'd rather lose followers than fail to tell people the greatest news ever:
Jesus saves. Jesus changes lives. Jesus is coming again.
