@biondorama@Setby_Byset@amy_sargeant_ I have never pretended that there aren't women who don't mind pretending men can be women. They just cannot consent for all women. Let's skip over the intimidation and threats by trans activists shall we?
@biondorama@amy_sargeant_ What's your point? Why don't you share some clips from 'let women speak' events? Share them so people can see how trans activists behave towards women saying no. Most women and girls are too scared to put themselves in that sort of risk.
@kjr81201991@KirstiMiller30 You have skipped over that 'very few' is too many. But you don't care how many women and girls are harmed so long as men, however they identify, get access to female spaces. Men, however they identify, going into female spaces is not a human right.
@Setby_Byset@amy_sargeant_ Trans activists think women are inferior. They don't think women and girls have the agency to say no, we won't pretend it's possible to change sex. It takes a brave women to publically state their opposition to gender ideology. The intimidation and assaults are very scary.
@rejserin@isabellaslink Children are not capable of giving fully informed consent about permanent changes to their bodies. It's that simple. Why would an adult be pushing for unlicensed medication to be given to children? You have no idea what the long term effects may be over a lifetime.
@Setby_Byset@amy_sargeant_ Sex is observed at birth. It is not assigned and it never changes. So a few women who don't mind having their entire existence redefined by men, however they identify, do not represent all women.
@itsthezoeyy@daniellismore Why should women and girls spend even more time in their lives, than they do already, trying spot people who say they are trans for reasons 'other than self actualisation'? Even if I was prepared to spend my life doing this, which I'm not, how i would I know their life journey?
@kjr81201991@KirstiMiller30 Very few incidents is too many. No feminist would think 'very few incidents' was an acceptable amount of harm for letting men, however they identify, into female spaces. But trans activists don't care how many women are harmed as long as they get to 'live life as a woman'.
@theresaverity Have you considered the media was protecting you. The last thing you need is more people finding out that activists are trying to erase women's sex based rights so that men can be included.
@limerickblog@melanieander3y Fantastic news! So you have no objections to same sex groups meeting or having dating pools, women's groups and spaces that exclude men, however they identify? As you say you can have nothing to do with them if they values don't align with yours. Bravo. That approach is needed.
@mamarebelle@TheTransTroll That isn't rubbish and it is very easy to prove. Any man, however they identify, who is fighting to take away rights away from women is a threat to them. Not all threats are physical.
@LDiggley@Gaynotqueer1 Most women who want to keep their rights, wouldn't even describe themselves as TERFS. It has become a slur to insult and attack any woman who says no. Just saying no apparently transitions you to a far right white straight middle class woman.
@Gaynotqueer1 Saying no to men, however they identify, in female spaces is not like segregation. It is only because trans activism is deeply racist that is is trotted almost every day. Black women have more in common with other women than they do with men who 'feel' like women.
@asugarfreezone@Gaynotqueer1 Her very suggestion that black women, or other women of colour have more incommon with men, however they identify, than they do with white women is clearly racist and insulting. Men forcing women to pretend it's possible to change sex is patriarchy on steroids.
@Sarahjdublin Transwomen don't affect me is not really something to build good policy on. If being a woman is simply an outfit change, that any man can achieve at any time, how on earth do you think that helps the fight for women to be taken seriously when it comes to VAWG?
@floating_home I read it. It is a racist, illogical piece of writing. A woman's sex is important. It shouldn't dictate how she should think, how she chooses to live her life or what she is capable of achieving. Yet this is exactly the main point of trans activism, to tell women how to live.
@ramendik@woofwooflad89@Sarahjdublin Men are redefining what it means to be a woman, so that it includes their internal world. It is in their interest to pretend sex is of no importance so that they can have unfettered access to all female spaces. I will never see that as a positive gain for women and girls.
