Mich nervt dieses Gerede von der angeblichen NATO-Expansion

Die NATO ist kein Staat, sondern ein Verteidigungsbündnis. Sie besitzt kein eigenes Territorium. An Russland grenzen souveräne Staaten, die sich freiwillig für dieses Bündnis entschieden haben.

Allein die Mitgliedschaft in einem Verteidigungsbündnis ist keine Bedrohung und erst recht keine Rechtfertigung für einen Angriffskrieg.

Wer das behauptet, spricht souveränen Staaten das Recht auf ihre eigene Sicherheits- und Bündnispolitik ab.

Dann ist einer Journalistin des Wiener "Standard" aufgefallen, dass die Möglichkeit besteht, eine Empörungsdebatte loszutreten. Ich hätte "Witze über Femizide" gemacht. Habe ich nicht. Ich hätte "Victim-Blaming" betrieben. Habe ich nicht.
Von denen, die sich gerade wieder in den Medien publikumswirksam erregen, hat die überwältigende Mehrheit die Sendung nicht einmal gesehen. Sonst hätte sie wahrgenommen, dass es in "Nuhr im Ersten" um etwas ganz anderes ging: Um das Wort "strukturell", das allen Männern Schuld zuweist, weil sie "strukturell" Täter sind. Es ging um mehrere Artikel in großen deutschen Zeitungen, in denen Frauen infrage stellten, noch mit Männern leben zu können, weil diese "statistisch töten". Diese völlig überzogene pauschale Verunglimpfung war Thema meines Beitrages. Ich habe betont, dass jeder Frauenmord selbstverständlich (!) einer zuviel ist, aber dass die Chance, bei der Partnerwahl auf einen Frauenmörder zu stoßen, verschwindend gering ist. Dass das Wörtchen "strukturell" also wissenschaftlich verbrämt, dass es sich um ein Pauschalurteil gegenüber Männern handelt. Und dass man bei der Partnerwahl gelassen bleiben kann.
Kein Witz über Femizide, nirgends. Habe ich noch nie gemacht. Werde ich nicht tun. Der Vorwurf ist lächerlich. Interneterregung wird zur Volksmeinung umgedeutet. So ist es üblich in diesen Tagen.
Es ist bezeichnend und erschütternd, dass die Falschmeldung aus Wien zuerst von der Stuttgarter Zeitung abgeschrieben wurde (die den Artikel indessen geändert hat) und nun ein großer Teil der Zeitungslandschaft Anteil haben möchte an der Aufregung. Das wirft ein trübes Licht auf unsere Medienlandschaft, in der es heute im Wesentlichen nicht um Erkenntnis geht, sondern um die Empörung an sich. Klicks sind die Währung unserer Zeit."

Seriously.

For me, there isn't one.

The debate exists because television needs content and social media needs arguments.

When I watch football, I don't see a debate.

I see Messi.

Then I see everybody else.

That doesn't mean other legends weren't incredible.

It means I've never seen another player influence a match, a team and an entire generation of football the way Messi has.

And today was another reminder.

He didn't need a hat-trick.

He didn't need to score from 40 yards.

He just needed to be Lionel Messi.

And suddenly Argentina looked like a completely different team.

That's greatness.

Not when everything depends on you.

When everybody becomes better because you're there.

I've played against great players.

I've played with great players.

But Messi is the only player I've ever watched and genuinely thought:

'This isn't normal.'

The scary thing?

Opponents know exactly what he's going to do.

And they still can't stop it.

That's why I don't waste my time with comparisons anymore.

Some players become legends.

Some players become icons.

Messi became a category of his own.

You're asking the wrong question.
