When will the artistes of this generation ever come together and come up with such songs?
Big ups to Bobi Wine who behind this masterpiece which was dedicated to pregnant mothers and unborn babies 👏
Comrade Blue Tick, who was abducted and held at the basement near Bayita Ababiri along Entebbe Road, speaks out about the torture and abuse they reportedly endured while in detention.
Police & the armed forces,
Let's learn to respect each other because we can't be free when we oppress each others. Don’t treat your brothers and sisters like they are half humans. Brutality and torture is not the answer. Love ❤️ Uganda 🇺🇬 Respect the People Of Uganda 🇺🇬
@FredNshemereirw Hello @FredNshemereirw ka jambo sebbo.
Just know its too late bro. Solution is simple, other than intimidating, please tell the commanders to change.
“Personally I have evidenced and observed matters that really my heart cannot contain anymore. Matters that relate to arbitrary arrests, disappearances, kidnaps, abductions, torture, you know my heart cannot uphold anymore. As Ugandans we have beared other inflictions of all form from the government. But when it comes to humanity, they are matters that concern all of us,” Lt. Herbert Mabonga Matanda stated in his September 30th 2026 commentary on the horrors he witnessed in the basement/ ‘safe house’ manned by the SFC (Special Forces Command), located at Abayita Ababiri, Kabaale B village on Entebbe Road.
We have severally reiterated our position that matters of humanity must be a concern for all the men in uniform and all Ugandans of conscience because these repressive actions are indiscriminate, and anyone can fall prey irrespective of their political views.
The basement is clearly a replica of the infamous Nazi concentration camps. Lots of dehumanizing things have been done to people held at this horrific place. It is a place where many Ugandans who disagree with the regime are held and tortured to death for the less resilient captives. Just as Lt. Mabonga reveals, it is a cardinal duty of all men in uniform to patriotically stick to the oath of serving the country as opposed to serving one family (First Family). Soldiers must at all time stick to humanity as they execute their constitutional duties.
The judiciary on the other hand must play its part now that there is glaring evidence of the enforced disappearances that we have been talking about overtime. Our legal team has severally filed Habeas Corpus applications in pursuit of the unconstitutional release of political prisoners but sadly, these humanitarian efforts are usually turned down even when the abductors are captured on camera. If only our judicial officers could independently operate without fearing any reprisals, then maybe the wheels of justice will roll in favor of the victims of the state sanctioned disappearances. But someday, the oppressed Ugandans shall break the chains and be free.

Seeing Comrade Sam Mugumya being helped to walk is heartbreaking. Whatever our differences, we are human beings. Let us show mercy, reject violence and demand accountability. Power is temporary; humanity must come first. Appreciation to Afande Herbert Matanda for speaking out.
How about we do an exhibition of torture victims?. Post the torture victims and we demand for accountability from Museveni and his NRM regime 📌

“Some people are collecting signatures, where’s your people are being killed, they are being “detoothed”finger nails are being removed. Fellow Ugandans, Wake up!”
Lt. Mabonga 2026
State minister of Internal Affairs at the time Hon. David Muhoozi suggested on the floor of parliament that Sam Mugumya had disappeared himself in Congo.
Is this still the position of Ministry of Internal Affairs?
So, to those confused by the list in the video of @SamMugumya & @MuwangaMKivumbi. I have made a list of the names in the book. Have a gander in case a loved one is missing. Those in green are recorded as released. I see my friend @TimKalyegira appears on the list😔
Today, our Leader of the Opposition raised the issue of the leaked video showing Comrade Sam Mugumya, Christopher Gody alias King Zale, Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi and many others being held in a basement.
The more we appreciate him, the more we encourage many in his similar situation to speak up, i'm sure there's more than one soldier with humanity.
Don't let this picture die out, we go hard today!💪🏾
Here is a letter which Lt. Mabonga Herbert Matanda wrote to Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi while he was in that torture chamber, where he spent 19 days. He passed on the original letter to him, but took a picture of it, which he released yesterday.
Mabonga represents thousands of senior, mid-level and junior officers in all departments of UPDF, police and intelligence services who vehemently oppose the criminal system but are held captive and cannot speak out. The only difference is that Mabonga had the courage to speak out. We have long told the people of Uganda that each time we're arrested or abducted, these officers will approach us and tell us how they're more disgusted by the system than most people can imagine.
Those who agree with the system and its atrocities are a very small fraction who are privileged and benefit from the pervasive corruption and nepotism within the forces. I remain hopeful that one day, the patriotic officers will have enough courage to stand with the oppressed people of Uganda and live true to their oath to pay allegiance to the nation of Uganda and not the falling regime of blood and national shame. UGANDA WILL BE FREE!
