@Magik__TV @Thooorin I agree, censorship should never be the way. But remember that twitch is a company that earns money from ads. Everyone is free to say what they want, that does not mean there can't be any consequences. Its a fine line and I encourage discussing it more!

@Magik__TV @Thooorin "Words dont hurt, so I can say what I want" is the other side of that saying. There is more to a person than their physique. We know that today, better than ever. His punishment may have been a little harsh, but as you say that is a decision twitch has to make and learn from.

@Thooorin You can't leave it and hope they will do better next time. What the appropriate measures are is a different discussion, but there have to be some so people are aware of what they are saying.
Everyone does or did it to some extent; we have to be aware of it to change that.

Also it does not matter wether the person is homosexual or not. The problem is the ill intend; displaying their sexual orientation as a negative trait.

@Thooorin I've seen stuff like this first hand. When I was little, kids would still use "Jew" as a general insult. In germany. And that makes me sick.
Yes the word itself is not biased negatively. But using it with ill intend puts prejudice and hate into its use.
