@simonmontefiore@Telegraph@AllisterHeath I fail to see the connection between the brilliant Cauldron which I am currently reading and the dumb arguments made in this dumb article
@NikkiTemkin@simonmontefiore@afalkhatib@nytopinion The "small number" of Israeli extremists have massacred tens of thousands of people more than Muslim extremists. They are also harassing thousands of civilian peasants (not Hamas) in the West Bank to steal their land. Yeps Israel has homework to do.
@alemannoEU And there were no threats or ultimatums from Brussels or the EU - no “become part of the EU or else…” This might seem obvious but these days it is not
@alemannoEU As long as he stops pandering to China & Russia and stops sabotaging the EU and its aspirations, it should be fine. The rest should be left to Hungary internally with the EU giving him some breathing space.
@hahussain Yes many condemned the Iranian regime's crimes and want them out. But condoning a US President saying "a whole civilisation will die tonight" is not on. Your tweet is a real low.
@hahussain NATO does not apply when a party “engages” in war. It applies when party is attacked. Rest can come to its defence, like Europe did from 09/11 where we then also got our share of attacks on London, Paris etc for sticking our neck out for the US war on terror
@McFaul Europe also had also its share of terror attacks, from Madrid, to London, to Paris, to Brussels and more because they sticked their neck out for the US in its war on terror
@alemannoEU There was never any subservience. The US had things that Europe did not and Europe ended up dependant on them. This is the right time for Europe to stand up and start rectifying this situation.
@MsMelChen Maybe if the US started by stopping settlers stealing other people’s land and working to establish a viable Palestinian state with moderate Palestinians, Iran and their proxies would be weaker from the start without the US even firing a single shot
@faniaoz@gabri1967@IL_police Moderate Zionists and moderate Palestinians are the only path for a state / two states where Israelis and Palestinians can co-exist in peace and prosperity. It is important they remain focused, letting racists, zealots and extremists fall by the wayside
